The Homeowner's Companion is designed to keep your home inventory and maintenance records private. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your home records for advertising or third-party marketing.

By default, your data is stored locally on your phone or tablet. If you choose a paid premium plan with cloud sync, synced data is stored only so you can back it up and retrieve it across your own devices.

Inventory items, photos, maintenance logs, reminders, notes, and similar home records that you create are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly enable a premium cloud feature.

When premium cloud sync is available, the cloud database will be used for your retrieval and backup only. We will not sell, rent, or share those records with third parties for their own use.

The app may use anonymous diagnostic information provided by the App Store and Google Play to help us identify crashes and improve stability. This information is not tied to your identity.

If you purchase a premium plan, payment is handled through the applicable app store or payment provider. We do not store your full payment card or bank account details in the app.

We may receive limited purchase status information, such as whether your premium access is active, so the app can unlock paid features.

Camera and photo library access are used only to add inventory photos at your request.

Notifications are used only to deliver maintenance reminders that you have explicitly scheduled.

For local-only use, you can delete your data at any time by removing the app or clearing app storage. See the "Delete Account" page for step-by-step instructions.

When premium cloud sync is available, we will provide a way to delete your cloud account and synced records, or to request deletion through support if the in-app flow is not yet available.
